Tips for mixing Afro House
- Watch the percussion: two busy percussion layers can clash, so thin one out with the EQ during the blend.
- Vocals and chants are the identity of the genre. Avoid mixing two vocal sections at the same time.
- Afro house mixes naturally with deep and melodic house at similar tempos, which makes it easy to fit into longer sets.
